Section 17D in West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1972

17D. Appeal.

- Any person aggreived by an order made under sections 17A, 17B or 17C may appeal to [an officer of the State Government] [Substituted for "an appellate authority" by the West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 1978, section 15(a).] [to an officer of the State Government] [Substituted 'not below the rank of a Superintendent of Agricultural Marketing' by West Bengal Act No. 16 of 2017, dated 31.3.2017.], as may be specified by the State Government by an order issue in this behalf, having jurisdiction over the area [and the decision of such officer shall be final] [Inserted by the West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 1978, section 15(b).].Provided that no appeal against an order made under sections 17A, 17B or 17C shall be entertained by [such officer] [Substituted for "the said appellate authority" by ibid, section 15(c).] unless he is satisfied that such amount of fee as the appellant may admit to be due from him has been paid.
