Section 21 in The General Clauses Act, 1897

21. Power to issue, to include power to add to, amend, vary or rescind, notifications, orders, rules or bye-laws

.Where, by any [Central Act] [Substituted by A.O.1937, for " Acts of the Governor General-in-Council.] or Regulation, a power to [issue notifications] [Substituted by Act 1 of 1903, Section 3 and Sch.II, for " make" .], orders, rules, or bye-laws is conferred, then that power includes a power, exercisable in the like manner and subject to the like sanction and conditions (if any), to add to, amend, vary or rescind any [notifications] [Inserted by Act 1 of 1903, Section 3 and Sch.II.], orders, rules or bye-laws so [issued] [Substituted by Act 1 of 1903, Section 3 and Sch.II, for " made" .].
