Section 36P in West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1972

36P. Power to State Government to hold inquiry.

(1)The State Government, with a view to satisfying itself that the powers and duties of the Board are exercised and performed properly, may, at any time, appoint any person or persons to make inquiries into all or any of the activities of the Board in such manner as may be prescribed and to report to the State Government the result of such inquiries.

(2)The Board shall give to the person or persons so appointed all facilities for the proper conduct of the inquiries and shall produce before the person or persons any document or information in the possession of the Board, if such person or persons so demand for the purpose of such inquiries.
