Section 36D in West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1972

36D. Delegation of the Board's powers and duties.

- For the purpose of efficiently discharging its business under this Act, the Board may, from time to time, by order, delegate, under such restrictions, if any, as it may think fit to impose, any of its powers and duties conferred and imposed on it by this Act to the Chairman of the Board [or to Secretary of the Board or to the Chief Executive Officer,] [Substituted for "or to the Chief Executive Officer" by the West Bengal Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 1977, section 10.] or to any other officer of the Board or to a sub-committee or sub-committees formed from amongst the members of the Board.
