We Are Not the Boss, but the Brother
The world must learn, and learn it true,
We seek no crown, no throne in view.
Not born to rule, nor to suppress,
But to heal the world’s unrest.
We are not the Boss, but the Brother,
Bound by love to one another.
We see the faults, yet still embrace,
The wounded heart, the weary face.
We speak the truth — the final word,
Not loud, but calm, assured, and heard.
For wisdom walks in humble shoes,
And strength is found in those who choose.
To pardon once — that is our way,
For mercy lights a brighter day.
But twice betrayed, we stand aware,
Of what to give and what to spare.
No hate we hold, no grudge we keep,
Our faith runs strong, our roots run deep.
In peace we walk, in truth we stand,
With love and justice hand in hand.
Joy Hind.
