 Jurisprudence is the study of law, and is also known as the philosophy of law or theory of law. It is a broad field that examines the nature of law, legal systems, and legal institutions. Jurisprudence also considers the relationship between law and other fields of study, such as economics, ethics, history, sociology, and political philosophy.
