Humanitarian Aid and Civilisational Responsibility
Bharat’s prompt relief assistance to Nepal following the reported glacial disaster must be widely publicised. At the same time, allegations that China failed to share prior information about the glacial event require an independent and transparent investigation. The people of Nepal deserve to know who stood beside them during the crisis and whether vital information was withheld.
Hindu beliefs and traditions are increasingly subjected to calculated ridicule in both Bharat and Nepal. Freedom of expression permits criticism, but not deliberate hatred or provocation. Those who burn sacred or historical texts, including the Manusmriti, should be answered firmly through lawful action, scholarship and democratic debate.
Tolerance is a strength, but it is not limitless. Bharat belongs equally to all its citizens; nevertheless, everyone must respect its constitutional order, social harmony and civilisational heritage. Hinduism does not require hatred for its defence—it requires unity, courage, knowledge and lawful accountability.
