Lawyer

Lawyer

In robes of black, with steady gaze,
They walk the courts, through justice’s maze.
A voice for truth, both firm and clear,
A shield for those the world won’t hear.

They read the law like sacred text,
They speak when others stand perplexed.
With logic tight and reason deep,
They wake the rights that others sleep.

Where conflict brews and tempers flare,
The lawyer dares to stand and care.
Not always praised, not always liked,
Yet still they march where sparks are spiked.

They cross-examine, plead, defend—
Each case a cause, each brief a friend.
Their words may build, their words may break,
But always for the people’s sake.

So here’s to those who know the cost,
Who fight for justice, never lost.
A noble path, a daunting climb—
A lawyer walks the edge of time.
